On January 23rd Tartu City Museum is to open a new temporary exhibition titled:”Joy crashes the worry. Collection of Art Association “Pallas””.”Pallas” is an art association established in Tartu in 1918. Among others Konrad Mägi, Aleksander Tassa, Ado Vabbe, Marie Reisik, Nikolai Triik, Ants Laikmaa, Kristjan Raud and Eduard Rüga are known to have been members.On January 21st the association celebrates it’s 101. birthday. The exhibition will display a selection of works by “Pallas’s” members.The exhibition is compiled by Silja Paris and Enn Lillemets. The exhibition will be opened until April 7th.
